A gap most investors never see
Why most U.S. immigration lawyers do not offer a menu of EB‑5 projects.
Regional-center EB‑5 interests are securities. A U.S. lawyer who actively solicits investors, recommends particular offerings or receives transaction-based compensation may trigger U.S. broker-dealer registration and conflict-of-interest rules. The SEC has brought enforcement actions against immigration lawyers who crossed that line without registration and full disclosure.
That is why many U.S. immigration lawyers focus on the petition and source-of-funds case—not presenting and comparing a broad selection of investments.

David Rosenblatt, J.D., C.S.
David has practised immigration law since 1991 and has guided families, entrepreneurs and investors through consequential immigration decisions for more than 35 years. He founded VisaV to give EB‑5 investors what too many never receive: real choice, disciplined project comparison and candid, client-first guidance before capital is committed.
As a former Director of Dundee Bank of Canada, David brings clients a rare combination of legal knowledge, financial insight and governance experience. His background in business, real estate development and global investment helps him understand the broader considerations facing investors and entrepreneurs—not simply the immigration filing.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, David helps clients ask the questions promotional materials often leave unanswered and works closely with U.S. counsel to build an organized immigration strategy.
